SHADE SAIL IDEAS
These specially made custom shade sails are not to be confused with the purported shade sails (PPS) sold on the web by Amazon and the like, they are so very different as not to be comparable, but here we will explain the fundamental differences.
SUN PROTECTION. At the core of a high-quality shade sails is the shade cloth which should be knitted with a monofilament. This mono filament provides the UV barrier meaning that you have substantial UV protection between 86% and 98%. NONE of the PPS use real shade cloth or have a sun protection factor!
SAFETY FACTORS. If a shade sail breaks loose, it can cause quite a lot of damage and sometimes injury. To avoid this the sail needs to be properly installed and highly tensioned, after all they are a "sail" and will catch the wind. It is impossible to tension a PPS they have no strength in the edge. Most PPS have the material rolled at the edge with some tape for the buckles sewn in. Our shade sails employ seatbelt webbing continuously around the perimeter of the sail (specially made for us). The breaking strength of our sail edges is over 2 tonnes.

LONGEVITY. When you buy a PPS you can expect it to last about as many days as it costs in dollars. Our shade sails have a 15-year guarantee! with NO claims on 16 years.
CUSTOMER SERVICE. PPS vendors are not interested in individual contact with customers, they are not going to give you guidance or help in planning your installation. We pride ourselves on customer service, who could be more important than you? We enjoy helping and getting involved in your projects.
STANDING BEHIND THE PRODUCT. Not everything is perfect and sometimes our customers will make a mistake in their measurements meaning they have a useless sail. In such instances we have no desire to profit from their misfortune. We so see that a replacement is provided at raw cost. We don't double dip at the customer's expense. If we make a mistake, we immediately replace the sail at no cost.
NOTHING TOO BIG OR SMALL. The variety of shade sails and applications seem to be endless from very, very big to quite small.
